According to a report from Al-Arabiya, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has advised pilgrims not to bring expensive or valuable items with them on their journey.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah shared the recommendations in a Twitter post. It advises not to bring gold, precious stones, or any precious metal while going to Saudi Arabia for Umrah. Additionally, it was also stated that one can carry a maximum of 60,000 Saudi Riyals or $16,000.

The Saudi authorities emphasized the necessity of using a bank's app for financial transactions during the performance of Umrah. They advised against disclosing bank account information to others. To avoid unfortunate incidents, individuals were advised not to send money to unknown persons and refrain from responding to text messages from unknown numbers.

According to the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, if any worshipper is a victim of fraud or if there is suspicion of fraud against someone, they can inform the relevant authorities about the matter.

Previously, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in the country had imposed restrictions on Muslims regarding performing more than one Umrah during the sacred month of Ramadan. This measure was taken during the holy month of Ramadan to reduce overcrowding at religious sites, including the Kaaba, and to minimize people's movement.
