It is narrated by Hazrat Aisha she said: A woman came to me with her two little girls to ask for something to eat. By chance, there was nothing in the house at that time except a date. I gave it to her. She gave this date to her two daughters by cutting it half and feeding it and she did not even taste the date, then she left with her daughters. If they grow up, that is, if they belong to their home, then I and that person will be together on the Day of Resurrection. found (Muslim)
According to the narration of Hazrat Auf bin Malik, it is said that Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) advised that whoever has three daughters and takes good care of them, even until they become separate through marriage or death, these daughters will be shielded for him from the Hellfire. (Reported by Baihaqi)
There is another narration from Hazrat Awf bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah ï·º advised: "Whoever has three daughters and he raises them properly, so much so that they become independent or get married, then these daughters will become a shield for him from the Hellfire."
According to a narration from Hazrat Aqba bin Amir, I have heard the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) saying: "Whoever has three daughters, and he endures their upbringing, provides for them according to his means, and is kind towards them, they will serve as a shield for him from the hellfire." (Musnad Ahmad).
Daughters are an unparalleled gift from Allah. To hate and despise daughters is equivalent to rejecting the gift bestowed upon us by Allah. Anyone who dislikes Allah's gift, especially such a precious one as a daughter, is truly unfortunate and pitiable.
The Prayer Of An Obedient Child's Parent is Accepted
According to Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar, I have heard from Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) that in ancient times, three people went on a journey together. As they were walking, night fell upon them and they decided to spend the night in a nearby cave. As soon as they entered the cave, a rock fell from the mountain and blocked the cave's entrance, plunging them into complete darkness. Suddenly, this incident led to their death. They realized that removing the boulder, which was the size of a mountain, was impossible. They concluded that it was very difficult for them to escape from there. If Allah wills a miracle to happen, it will happen. Therefore, whoever performs good deeds only for the sake of Allah's pleasure and satisfaction can pray to Allah through that deed to accept their prayers and relieve them of this difficulty.
After a while, the three men began to assess their actions. One of them started speaking, saying that his parents were elderly and he used to cut wood in the forest to support them and his children. It was his routine to feed his elderly parents with the milk from the goats before his children. He had never fed his children before his parents.
Once I ventured far in search of firewood and returned home very late at night. I quickly prepared some milk and brought a cup to my parents to drink before bed. To my surprise, both of them were already asleep and my hungry children were crying. I found myself in a dilemma. Should I wake up my parents and risk disturbing their sleep, or should I endure the cries of my hungry children? I gathered my strength and stood beside my parents with the cup in my hand, waiting for them to wake up. Meanwhile, my children were in a terrible state due to hunger and were crying uncontrollably. Upon hearing their cries, my parents woke up. I quickly gave them the cup of milk, and they drank it, feeling satisfied. Then I fed my children milk and they fell asleep, finally free from hunger.
After experiencing all of this, the man said, "Oh Allah, if I have done this task for your pleasure and satisfaction, then please accept my prayer and save us from the calamity of this mountain." He had to say this because the mountain moved a little and there was a faint light inside the cave.
Afterward, the other person said, "Oh Allah, you know very well that I had an aunt who I loved very much, I tried very hard to control myself around her and express my desires, but she always refused. During this time, there was a very difficult year of severe drought where all food and drink ran out. She was also forced to come to me in her distress so that I could help her. I waited for them to wake up, while my children were in a bad state from hunger and screaming in agony. Hearing their cries, my parents woke up and I quickly fed them milk. After that, I also fed my children milk, their hunger was satisfied and they also fell asleep."
After all of this had happened, the man said, "Oh Allah, if I have done this work for your pleasure and satisfaction, then please accept my prayer and save us from the calamity of this mountain." That was all he had to say before the mountain slightly shifted and a faint light started to shine from inside the cave.
Afterward, the second person said, "Oh Allah, you know well that I had a maternal aunt whom I loved very much. I tried hard to control my desires and expressed my wishes to her, but she always refused. During that time, there was a severe drought for a year and all the food and drink had finished. She was forced to come to me in desperation so that I could help her. I gave her a hundred and twenty dinars on the condition that she fulfills my desire and controls her desires. She reluctantly agreed due to her circumstances and was now completely in my control. I tried to fulfill my desires by sitting between her feet, but she trembled and said, 'Oh brother, fear Allah and do not break this taboo.' Hearing her words, the fear of Allah arose in my heart and I immediately left. Although she was very dear to me and I truly loved her, I never took back the given dinars. Oh Allah, if I did this act out of Your pleasure and fear, then please remove this calamity from us. As a result, the boulder moved a little and the cave was now illuminated, but they still could not leave the cave.
During his turn, the third person said: "Oh Allah, as you know, I had employed some laborers and would pay them on time. One of them left his job and didn't return for many days. I invested his wages in my business, and Allah blessed it with much profit. After several years, he suddenly came to me and asked for his wages. I told him, 'Look at all these camels, cows, goats, and slaves - they all belong to you. Take them.' He replied, 'Stop joking with me and give me my wages.' I said, 'I'm not joking. All of this wealth is the result of your labor. I had invested your wages in my business, and Allah blessed it. Take everything.' That's how everything happened, and Allah had put blessings in it."
The worker was very happy and went on his way with joy, carrying all his belongings. Oh God, if I did this work for your satisfaction, please save us from this calamity. It was said that the entire mountain had slid down and they all set off toward their destination.
The Prayers Of Parents Are Surely Accepted
It is narrated by Hazrat Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah ï·º instructed, "The prayer of three individuals is undoubtedly accepted: (1) the prayer of the oppressed, (2) the prayer of the traveler, and (3) the prayer of the parents for their children."
According to a narration from Hazrat Anas, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) advised that the supplications of three people are never rejected: (1) a father's prayer for his son, (2) the prayer of the oppressed, and (3) the prayer of a traveler.
According to Abu Huraira, the Prophet ï·º said, "Only two children spoke in their mother's lap, one was Jesus (peace be upon him) and the other was the companion of Jirjees (unknown to us). The companions asked, 'O Messenger of Allah! Everyone knows Jesus, but who is the companion of Jirjees?' We do not know him."
The Prophet (PBUH) said that there was a monk named Greg who lived in his church. A shepherd would sleep under his church at night. One day, a woman from the village became acquainted with the shepherd. She would come to him at night. It is mentioned that Greg's mother came to him and called out to him while he was praying. He thought to himself whether he should respond to his mother's call or finish his prayer. Eventually, he decided to complete his prayer first and then give his mother attended. His mother became tired of calling out to him repeatedly and became very angry, cursing him before leaving. She said to him that he would not die until he saw the faces of seasons.
A few months later, the same cowherd woman with a newborn child was presented to the king's court, the village people accused the woman, saying: Peace be upon the king! This woman is not married yet, where did this child come from? The king asked this woman: Whose child is this? The woman replied: This is the child of Jurij, the king inquired: Is he the one from the church? He said: Yes, the king ordered his servants to go and demolish his church, and seize it and bring it to us. The flower was blooming.
The soldiers of the barbaric king, following orders, destroyed the church of Gregory with explosives and took him bound to the king's court. Along the way, Gregory smiled quietly to himself as he saw the crowds and thought, "This is the result of my mother's curse." However, the king's men brought him to the court where the king asked, "Why, Gregory, were you acting so pretentiously, and who knows what else was going on inside you?" Gregory replied, "Your Majesty, what has happened to your health?" The king warned him not to be foolish and asked, "Don't you know this woman?" And what is she saying about you?" Gregory replied, "Honestly, I have no idea." The king said, "This woman is saying that you are the father of her child. What do you have to say?" Gregory was ashamed and lowered his head. But he had complete faith in his God that He would exonerate him from this accusation. Gregory asked, "Where is the child?" The king replied, "It is in her lap." With a prayer in his heart, Gregory addressed the child, "Dear child, can you tell me who your father is?" The audience burst out laughing, thinking Gregory had gone mad. How would an innocent child who cannot even speak or understand tell who his father is? But Allah had granted the child the ability of speech, and he revealed that his father is the same shepherd whom the woman used to meet secretly at night. The entire assembly was stunned, and everyone bowed their heads in shame. They all realized that Gregory was innocent and that the woman had falsely accused him. Even the king was remorseful for his actions. Gregory's bindings were released, and he apologized for the mistake. The king offered to build a new church of gold and silver for him, but Gregory declined, saying that his old church was enough. The king then asked, "Why were you laughing earlier?" Gregory replied, "It was because of my mother's curse on me." And then he told the whole story.
